Inspiration – “April Free Choice”

I wanted to write this piece to provide more insight regarding the opposing views of our hundred year old victory at Vimy Ridge, as well as providing solutions to the issue of the treatment of our veterans of both the past and present. By Government supporting our heroes as soldiers not average citizens a difference could be made in terms of health, psychology and living conditions for these amazing men and women and their families. By most average citizens taking more time to understand the truth behind the horrors of the iconic battle and many others of the Great War and honoring our soldiers, living and dead, properly as they should be and not just focusing on their own opinions and respecting them all year round not just for one day they can make a tremendous difference in these heroes lives and the country, a simple act of kindness as simple as thanking a veteran in the streets, visiting a museum or reading books to educate yourself more on the history of war can make a huge difference in someone’s life as well as the country’s as the famous quote by Aesop goes “No small act of kindness however small is ever wasted”.
